TIZZAR has been interested in photography since the first 1970s. He was attracted by various and different topics which he has developed following a transversal way inside the contemporary universe.
The photos follow one another dealing with urban landscapes, faces and looks of people who go away and stop, leaving a sign of their passage during a period of time which does not flow, but lays on an unusual and indefinite space, like an opening way.
The images often become graphic expressions, light and shade studies which evoke unreal and ephemeral atmospheres.
The photomontages originate in the same way, and their imaginary architectures represent the true limit between reality and fantasy, weaving an everlasting thread between dream and truth.
The photographic research stops for about twenty years and it is then revived with a new passion around the first 2000s, which are no longer the final moment of a creative journey, but the starting point towards new horizons of the imagination. |
